You are invited to attend an event organized by the Muslim Society of PEI and the Muslim Student Association of UPEI.
Time
The event will be on Saturday the 8th of February In Shaa Allah. The event will begin at 4:30 pm so it’s preferred to come before that to find a good seat for you and for the family as the invitation is public.
Venue
The event will be in the University of Prince Edward Island, Murphy Student Center, McMillan Hall,bdg 4.
Speakers
Dr Jamal Badawi is a well-known scholar who has many publications on Islam.
Rev Bill MacLeod is a United Church minister and is speaking in that capacity as a Christian.
Sheikh Jamal will give a speech about “Importance of family in Islam” followed by a speech from Rev MacLeod who will also speak about “Importance of family in Christianity” after that there will be a chance for the attendees to ask a question to either of the speakers. (There will be a chance for asking private questions as well, by writing it on a paper and putting it in the box which will be in the entrance of the hall)

After finishing Maghreb Salah (which will be held in the same building) and the question and answer session, you are all invited for Putluck Supper in Musjid Dar Al Salam. Potluck dinner starts at 6:15pm.
