The society acquired a piece of woodland in Green Meadows, P.E.I., back in the late 1990s, but the work started in 2017 to prepare it as an official burying ground for Muslims on the Island.
Since then, it has become the final resting place to five beloved members of the Muslim community on PEI, including the late Dr. Suleiman Sefau. May Allah rest their souls.
